No seems to be my favorite word today:

1) No, you are not eligible to retest. You have already tested twice.
2) No, I’m sorry your advisor told you otherwise. Perhaps they did not look up your record, or they are not familiar with our retesting policy.
3) No, you are already enrolled in (enter subject) class, and that makes you ineligible to test.
4) No, I have to have your photo ID before you can test.
5) No, you have to wait 2 weeks to retest. That is the college policy.
6) No, you can’t get into classes that have already met.
7) No, registration for online classes is closed.
Yes I know that is late start class, but no you can’t get in it because it is full.
9) No, it isn’t my job to help you rearrange your schedule
10) No, I’m sorry you can’t print your schedule/transcript/etc their because those kiosks aren’t working. I know they sent you here, but IT hasn’t fixed them yet.

The volume is down from last week…or should I say the last month and that is awesome. However, I think my more than overextended goodwill is done…so clueless people who think it is okay to come in now and be catered to are on my short list. I want to tell people to grow up and stop making excuses…but I can’t.

So I will continue to remind myself that it isn’t as crazy as last week…and to not kill the clueless masses
